Chapter 4 Fortnite Season 4: Start Date
Fortnite Chapter 4 Season 3 ends on Friday, August 25, 2023, at 2 AM ET. We know that Season 4 will launch on the same day. Since there is usually a longer downtime at the end of a season,we assume thatFortnite Season 4 Chapter 4 will be released on August 25, 2023 at around7 AM ET.

Fortnite: End of Season Live Event
So far we don't know if there will be a live event for the Season 3 finale. However, the odds are pretty high.
Since we didn't have a live event at the end of Season 1 or Season 2, there are still a lot of open questions in the story. Also, since it was leaked thatSeason 4 will be the last season of Chapter 4, the topic of Chapter 5 must be slowly being prepared. In addition, some leaks indicate it.

Fortnite Season 4 Theme Trailer
The new season will have something to do with a blood moon. A Fortnite creator has received a mysterious blood moon image in the mail that is related to the release of Chapter 4 Season 4. The image came with a note that read, "Thank you for the addition to my collection." It was signed by Kouji Datura, and "datura" is a flower that is commonly known as the moon flower.

Also, according to some audio logs from Doctor Slone available in the game, the glyphs on the island indicate that an eclipse will soon occur. This eclipse could be a big part of the next season of Fortnite.
We still don't know exactly how the blood moon eclipse will tie into the new season. However, Epic Games is also gradually releasing new trailers that hint at a spy theme. They have already changed their profile picture and header on Twitter and posted infrared images marked by red laser beams.

return of the helicopters
According to Hypex, Epic Games has updated the Fortnite helicopters. You will gain a grenade launcher that fires every 2 seconds, dealing 35 damage to players and 450 damage to structures.
With that, it is very likely that they will return in Chapter 4 Season 4.

According to a tweet from our favorite Fortnite leaker HYPEX, who has always been a trusted source of Fortnite leaks and news in the past, Epic Games has started developinga first-person camera mode.

And now more files have been found that clearly indicate a first-person view for the Chapter 4 map. However, the feature likely won't be implemented until Chapter 5.
weapon mods
A while ago it was leaked that Epic Games was working on weapon mods. Unfortunately, they have not yet appeared in the game. HYPEX speculates that Epic is still working on finding the perfect way for players to use them, though their related tweet has since been deleted. Who knows, maybe the weapon mods will eventually be implemented in Season 4 anyway.
flying mounts
A slightly older tweet from HYPEX also indicates that Epic is working on "rideable flying animals" for Fortnite. Apparently, players will be able to boost the animal for more speed and fly at "rest". Rest probably means that the mount could float in the air to allow players to shoot more accurately or throw objects. Previously, An item that looked like a saddle was leaked in Fortnite, presumably this item could be related to flying mounts.
However, we assume that flying mounts will only be added to the game in a later season.
Chapter 4 Season 4 of Fortnite: Map and new POIs
With Chapter 4 Season 4 we won't be getting a completely new map this time, but as always there will be some changes to the island.
