For the last month we have been looking for the best for youice cream. We visited places known to everyone, but we also found completely new ones that are just trying their hand at the ice cream business. Having freshly remembered the taste of ice cream in Italy, it was easier for us to look for the perfect one. It turned out that high taste standards are maintained in at least a few places and today we recommend you, in our opinion, the best ice cream in Warsaw with a clear conscience.
The best ice cream in Warsaw - introduction:
The list does not include brands of nationwide ice cream, which are available both in pastry shops, restaurants and supermarkets (I mean, among others, Grycan, Häagen-Dazs or Carte d'Or). We focused on local and small-scale companies.
The premises listed below are arranged in alphabetical order - this is not a ranking, the order does not matter here.
Czekoladowy - confectionery shop in Warsaw was temporarily closed at the beginning of 2017
Czekoladowy is a valued confectionery inLublin. I was very happy that in September 2015 they opened their second place, this time in Warsaw. This is the only place on the list that has just started producing its own ice cream. But when they started, it was with a bang! Fantastic and unusual combinations of otherwise popular flavors, although the choice is limited to only 5-6 proposals. I tried strawberry-rhubarb and mango-passion fruit. Both have one denominator: they are not sweet and in the foreground you can feel the taste of ice cream, not sugar. Plus a nice wafer and perfect consistency. Keep it up! And when you go to Czekoladowe for ice cream, buy a passion fruit tart (PLN 9) – it's brilliant!

Kroczek ice cream
You can eat ice cream from Kroczek in Olsztyn, Bydgoszcz or Otwock. Unfortunately, they are not in Warsaw itself, but in my opinion they are worth it to visit Graj Cafe in Otwock at 33 Warszawska Street when passing through the Vistula River.
Kroczek not only offers solid portions, but they are super tasty and you can take 2 flavors in 1 portion. What an ice cream idea for me! Not so long ago we went to Otwock especially for this ice cream and ate a total of 4 scoops, thus trying almost half of the menu. In the spring in Olsztyn, we tried all the flavors thanks to the friendly service at their point at the Olsztyn Market Square. I will say this: they practically have no worse flavors, they are all hit. There are quite unusual proposals like basil, parsley (I highly recommend both flavors), but also more classic ones like sour cream "from the 50's", salted caramel, mango , strawberry, blueberry.

Strawberry
The only ice cream parlor in the shopping center on the list, but also the only place where I eat ice cream in winter. They offer several flavors that, in my opinion, are flawless: mango - very subtle and delicate, strawberry - great, because it is not sweet and slightly sour, very refreshing. Raspberry is similarly delicious. Pistachio, in turn, is only correct and has a large amount of sugar in it compared to sorbets. Lemon is refreshing, but not lemony enough for me - it tastes more like a mix of citrus. Nevertheless, Fragola is, in my opinion, worthy of attention. I am always curious about their more unusual flavors like snickers or gingerbread, but each time I choose proven fruit classics. Ice cream is produced on site - in the back of Galeria Mokotów. The tail that is usually placed at the ice cream stand may indicate their high quality.

Unicorn Ice Cream Traditional
When I say to Monsieur, "Let's go get ice cream," he immediately says, "To the Unicorn?" This is his first choice. We like this ice cream parlor for the fact that you can watch how ice cream is made and for the fact that when a flavor runs out on a given day, it is simply gone. Everything is fresh and delicious. The only downside is the small cups from which ice flows out in the heat. This ice cream is very soft and melts quickly. There is no air conditioning inside, so we feel like in a sauna when we buy. Fortunately, there are a few tables and a lot of chairs outside, so you can crouch in the shade and eat in peace. M.'s favorite is chocolate sorbet, and my favorite is an excellent, if quite sweet, mango. In addition, they have a nice cream hidden under the name "fior di panna" and brilliant coffee ice cream! Lemon and strawberry also have my blessing. I love!

Varsovians have known Limoni for years. It's a hit! They always keep the level, regardless of the location. They have the most invented and original flavors in the capital. Here you will try ice cream such as dill, lemon with basil, poppy seed, lime or rhubarb. My favorite is lemon with cucumber - it's one of the best ice creams I've ever eaten. The taste has not been dominated by sugar, the ice is sour - just the way I like it. Of the more unusual, acerola is also worth sinning, a type of cherry from South America - sour, but at the same time sweet, a very intriguing proposition. There are ice creams based on marsala wine, there are also meringue flavors. I think that everyone will find here a lot of flavors tailored to their taste.

Ice Eater
It's a complete newcomer to the ice cream market. The ice cream parlor opened in April and won the hearts of the inhabitants of Ursynów by storm. It is off the beaten track, which does not mean that there are no queues. The decor is very nice, and a dozen or so different flavors are tempting from behind the counter. The ice cream parlor specializes in those a bit more original, such as apple pie, cookie dough, Hello Kitty, pina colada, salt caramel. There are also more classic ones like vanilla, mango or strawberry. Cookies and fruit are great. I tried e.g. lemons, raspberries and passion fruit. Ice cream from Lodo Jadacza has a perfect consistency - exactly the way I like it - it's not too compact and doesn't run right off the cone. This is definitely a good address!

Real Ice Cream
Real Ice Cream is another sure bet on my list. I haven't tried their ice cream, but the sorbets get a solid "4+" from me. They have excellent rhubarb and very good lemon here. The only thing I like less is the too compact consistency. Traditional ice cream is quite hard and compact. I wish they were softer and more delicate. However, they have great, sweet wafers, which they decorate each serving with.

An inconspicuous ice cream parlor in the place "Ę Rybę" at Rondo ONZ - I'm adding it as part of updating the list, because you highly recommended it to me. There are usually 5-6 flavors on offer, with 3 available every day (cream, strawberry, chocolate) and the other 3 change every day (I happened to come across pistachio, watermelon sorbet and vanilla). The portions are solid and measured to the gram. Each scoop here weighs min. 50 g. I tried an excellent watermelon, strawberry and pistachio sorbet with whole nuts. Another time I only took cream. They were all delicious, and I especially liked the mango and watermelon sorbet - I haven't eaten better! An additional advantage is the very friendly service.

Malinova
This is one of the most famous ice addresses in the capital. The ice cream shop has been operating for over 20 years. You can choose from 16 flavors. They are classic, genuinely delicious chocolate with crunchy chocolate pieces, there is also very good cream. From the more "crazy" ones, you can choose a cookie or a fantastic fig in rum. The only thing that disappoints is the raspberry, which is not raspberry enough. The fruity notes are made up for by the expressive melon and tasty mango - I highly recommend these two suggestions - I'll be willing to die for them!

Sucre Natural Ice Cream
Sucré started his career with macaroons. Then it was time for other sweets and ice cream. Usually there are up to 10 flavors on offer. The hit is salted caramel, which in my opinion is very interesting, but in the maximum amount of 1/2 portion - it is too distinctive to eat more of it. I definitely prefer to eat their strawberry, mango or passion fruit, which are divine! In the 2017 season, I tried raspberry, which disappointed me, and which I liked very much before. This year they also improved the wafers. Other than that, great! It is also the only ice cream parlour, next to Lody Prawdziw, where the sellers reliably weigh the ice cream after application, so that the accidentally applied portion does not weigh less than 70 g. This is commendable.

Fairy Street
After your numerous comments, we decided to go for ice cream in Żoliborz, far away (from our point of view, and basically seats), where the "Ulica Baśniowa" ice cream parlor is located. In the light afternoon the queue was already turning in front of the entrance. Intuitively, we felt that you were probably right and something was up.
And in fact, the choice of ice cream is huge - nearly 30 flavors! Unfortunately, the fruit ones I tried disappointed me. The mango was correct at best and the strawberry barely strawberry. I definitely expected something more. The situation was saved by ice cream based on cream, i.e. those of "heavier caliber". Dark chocolate is almost black ice cream with a deep and extremely expressive taste, the cream was also excellent, the hazelnut turned out to be brilliant, and the caramel ice cream with pieces of pecan nuts also seemed interesting to me. Baśniowa street has great potential and offers original flavors. The advantage of the place is also air conditioning and a large, spacious premises. I recommend you milk ice cream, for fruit ones it's better to go elsewhere. I am adding this ice cream parlor to the additional list as a place worth attention for people in the area. However, it is not worth going from the other end of the city in my opinion.
